Our collection for the month of June is for our local area relief projects. Thanks to all of you for the efforts that have been put forth in this area. All of the different projects areas that we are involved in are listed in our Church directory or on the website. If you have any questions or would like to be more involved, please see Sis. Dawn Maloney.
Our monthly topical Bible study will be this Wednesday evening. Bro. Nate Hodel from Roanoke plans to be here. His topic will be from 2 Corinthians 10. The title is “Weapons of our Warfare”.
Hospital Lumiere in Bonne Fin, Haiti has an urgent need to fill the Director of Operations role which will soon be vacated when the current missionary Director returns home. This is a key management position, vital to the functioning of the hospital, which provides leadership and direction to the hospital’s administrative departments such as Admissions, Finance, Human Resources, Chaplaincy, Security and possibly others. This is a full-time role requiring relocation to Haiti. Financial support is provided through the HarvestCall Servant Fund. Housing, utilities and vehicles on the secure hospital campus are provided as a benefit of service. Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to cross-cultural service. Vacation Bible School is quickly approaching! We need volunteers to teach and help with crafts. Please go to the message center and sign up. The dates are July 30 through August 3. Also, if you have children who will be attending VBS, there is a sign-up sheet at the message center for you to put their t-shirt size. Or if you know they will not be attending, please cross their name off of the list. We appreciate all of your help. If you have any questions, please see Bro. Nate or Sis. Emily Sauder. Thank you!
Thanks to everyone who helped and attended our annual father son camp out last weekend. It was a blessed time together.
We rejoice with Bro. Will & Sis. Jamie Rokey as they were blessed with a baby girl named Sylvia Lynn on June 8th.
